Job Description
Pedago is seeking Accounting Subject Matter Experts/Grading Contractors to evaluate, grade and support students in the completion of MBA and Executive MBA programs at Quantic School of Business and Technology. Candidates must have a PhD/DBA in accounting or related business discipline as well as significant experience with teaching and grading accounting assignments at the graduate level, preferably in an MBA program. This position is open to all candidates, regardless of location, including international.Note that candidates without a relevant terminal degree will not be considered for this role.
This is a fully remote contractor position for up to 40 hours per week and the hourly rate is up to $20 USD per hour.
Responsibilities
- Grade accounting project submissions from MBA and EMBA students
- Provide extensive, qualitative feedback to students on academic performance
- Provide timely, follow-up answers to questions from students, as required
Requirements
- PhD in a highly relevant field
- 5+ years experience teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in accounting
- Highly proficient in written English
- Experience in academic assessment and feedback
- Experience in academic quality assurance processes
- Experience meeting the unique needs of a diverse, global student population of adult learners and working with cross-cultural teams
- Attention to detail and accuracy
