We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented GL/FA Accountant. You will analyze information,
maintain complete and accurate records, and perform other routine accounting duties. You should also be a
skilled researcher and possess strong communication and computer skills.
To succeed as a GL/FA Accountant, you should provide efficient, reliable support to
accounting department members, other departments, and external parties. You should be trustworthy,
thorough, and courteous with excellent time management skills.
Requirements
DUTIES | RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for GL amp; FA activities
Create, Calculate and Post journal entries
GL and FA accounts reconciliation
Inter-company account balancing
GL amp; Fa Accounts analysis
FA Depreciation Calculations
CIP Reconciliation
FA Capitalization process
Month-end closings and trial balance submissions
Assist in the preparation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages
GL and FA additional projects as required
Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with various levels of operating unit and
headquarters personnel.
Ensure all policies amp; procedures are updated amp; documented as necessary
SKILLS | QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
At least 1 year of experience in handling fixed assets accounting and General Ledger
Understanding of accounting principles and current financial legislation
Exceptional time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
Strong math and research skills
Strong computer skills including accounting databases, QuickBooks, Excel, and other software
Organized and detail-oriented
Ability to accurately and efficiently analyze data
