Job Description

The Payments Partnership Manager will help XLD build out and grow the payment network. The Payments Partnership Manager is assigned to look for payment partners based on territory, channel or market that XLD will expand to. The Payments Partnership Manager is responsible in creating, executing the partnership and maintaining the relationship with such as acquirers, financial institutions amp; payment processors. Provide strategic initiatives to support XLD’s products. The role will require to have a strong entrepreneurial mindset, ability to create strategic relationships and identifying opportunities working with cross-country and cross-functional teams. Be the go-to expert of a specific region.


Responsibilities
  • Initiate and develop commercial relationships with a variety of strategic partners
  • Integrations of payment solutions, analyzing amp; prioritizing the business needs for payment solutions;
  • Defining and implementing partnership strategies with payment system providers
  • Lead negotiation process on commercial partnership models, reviewing agreements/contracts and communication with legal
  • Presenting to management payment trends amp; new opportunities with a view to developing new services amp; products, communicating the benefits to stakeholders
  • Managing cross-departmental information flow on payment solutions between project managers, sales amp; accounting teams
  • Coordinating with local teams and external partners to fine-tune existing payment processes
  • Working with the payments data and analysis teams to monitor, create, and maintain payment operational metrics
  • End-to-end responsibility for a set of payment methods: Act as the single point-of-contact for local payment partnership, taking full ownership internally as well as externally.
  • Collaborating with the Technical Product manager on new integrations, developments, new features and bug fixes.
  • Manage escalations from local and global teams, and ensure resolution with the right teams at the payment networks.
  • Elevate XLD’s influence amp; positioning through facilitating joint product development, co-marketing, and other opportunities and overall positioning in key markets and segments.
  • Provide your expertise in discussing global payment trends, rules, and regulations with internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience in payments operation and partner management in game industry or fintech industries, or equivalent role
  • Strong communication skills, in both verbal and written form, and ability to influence stakeholders across a wide variety of functions
  • Possess Technical acumen, an ability to understand XLD’s product portfolio and strategy and use this understanding to define requirements with partners and evaluate new partnership opportunities
  • Interest in and intellectual curiosity about payments, economic infrastructure, and XLD’s vision
  • Deep understanding of the regulatory environment and operating with creativity in compliance framework
  • Ability to work seamlessly with a global, multicultural team
  • Bonus points for International experience
