We are looking for a high energy Data Engineer that will manage Data, Network and telephony systems. They are responsible for tasks, such as designing, installing, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting data amp; voice communication systems.

Click here to learn more about our Bold servicesRESPONSIBILITIES- Joining a phone call to support onsite migration amp; lead phone calls for installations
- Follow a checklist to ensure all steps are done and testing is completed for each installation
- Complete a number of migrations per night
- Manage multiple installations concurrently
- Troubleshoot software, hardware failures and determine network problems
- Diagnose and resolve incidents using documented procedures to perform responsibilities
- Integrate and test activities by migrating applications from development to operational environment
- Responding to client support requests
- Contacting clients to find out nature of problems
- Connecting via remote link
- Advising on software or hardware upgrades
- Provide basic training on computer operation and management
- Can Access amp; Configuration of Network gear and Access Points (i.e. Cisco, Meraki , Aruba amp; Dell)Network connectivity troubleshooting (Missing routes, add amp; modify vlans)
- Evaluate work and ensure compliance to Data infrastructure
- Perform troubleshooting on all data services for all LAN and WANCan execute various Network / Data configurations and provide support to unified messaging amp; voice migrations
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:- Degree in IT, Engineering, Computer science, Information System or any related area of study
- General knowledge amp; awareness of computer systems, PC, IT Peripherals, POS and Servers repair and network management
- Resourcefulness and quick-thinking nature to troubleshoot new and critical technical issues as they arise
- Ability to deploy, configure, and support operating systems on desktop and mobile
- Experience working in accessing amp; configuring router amp; switches (i.e. Cisco, Meraki AP’s, Aruba amp; Dell)Good working knowledge of Network functions (WAN and LAN) and Network amp; Data protocols (i.e. Vlans, IP addressing, routing amp; switching)Experience providing Network Incident Resolution (WAN and LAN)Working knowledge in voice is an added advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong critical thinking, analytical and decision-making skills
- Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize amp; customer oriented
- Certification such as CCNA, CompTIA, MCP is an advantage
