Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our fast-paced organization.
You will work closely with product management teams across various client organizations. You will work to define strategy and requirements. You will also lead the solution design through delivery and subsequent operations. You are able to focus on both delivery and customers. You should have experience managing multiple complete product development cycles, possess superior analytical abilities and expert product judgment. You will have excellent listening and writing skills. This role requires the ability to effectively communicate with executive management on status, risks, and mitigations. In addition, having a strong technical competency is essential to this role. A successful candidate will have a technical background, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and great project management and communication competencies.
To be successful in this role, you must be organized and task-focused and is also a leader and a team builder. You must have good technical and tactical skills, yet be able to develop a more strategic outlook. You have to demonstrate the necessary skills in this role to satisfy a wide variety of business stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:- The primary interface for new opportunities brought to us by the Client
- Coordinate with Project Managers and other IT business units, as well as vendors
- Manage program's budget, work on multiple projects, handle conflict/issues, and track progress
- Present status updates with our Governance Team
- Maintain strong customer focus while coordinating and collaborating with stakeholders, vendors, and IT resources in the implementation of key projects using effective verbal and written communication.
- Manage programs and/or multiple concurrent projects which are not necessarily related or interdependent
- Plan and manage out-sourced projects with large components completed by 3rd party vendors.
- Assist senior management with negotiating service/development contracts.
- Provide leadership to project managers, foster a positive team environment, and provide direction in ambiguous situations.
- Arbitrate and resolve conflict within the program when necessary. Understand appropriate paths and methods for escalation.
- Be proactive and exercise initiative in identifying, tracking, and removing impediments to program success. Approach risk identification and mitigation accordingly, including establishing contingency plans and initiating corrective action.
- Understand how individual projects affect the program/portfolio and exercise judgment in raising issues and risks to the program/portfolio level.
- Assist organizational change management (OCM) in defining the changes to business processes and procedures that will result from the program. Incorporate business process change estimates and contingencies into the overall plan.

Qualifications:- Four-year college degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field
- At least 12 years of experience managing IT projects, including end-to-end experience for medium-to-large projects and programs
- Success in managing multiple, large IT projects simultaneously
- Great communication skills and team player; works well with others
- 5 or more years of experience managing medium-to-large IT projects and programs
- Comfortable exercising judgment and using analytical skills in ambiguous situations
- Outstanding attention to detail combined with the ability to see the big picture
- Clear, effective verbal and written communication skills including the ability to actively listen, problem solve, and communicate effectively with both technical and business users
- Broad understanding of IT infrastructure and technology
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment; proactive in seeking out information when necessary
- Experience monitoring and managing vendor performance
- Experience managing requirement solution workshops
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project or similar tools
- Deep understanding of and ability to manage Project and Software Development Life Cycle(s) using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Above-average organizational, interpersonal amp; communication skills
