Job Description
Overview:
As a key contributor to our engagement teams, you will apply your educational background and compliance experience obtained from IT auditing or data analytics positions to some of the most exciting and coolest clients in the world. This position provides you the unique opportunity to get exposure to various corporate cultures, compliance programs and IT networks. You will take direction from experienced members of the team as you assist in problem solving and adding value by executing a variety of compliance engagements or being engaged in other leading internal initiatives with our clients. You will be involved with various compliance mapping projects for a variety of clients and industries, performing compliance review activities including SOC 2, SSPA and ISO27001 engagements. You will research and draft policy and procedure templates, assist complete SOC 2 Section 3 System Descriptions or reviews of completed system descriptions and associated gap assessments. We rely heavily on our associates for the execution and delivery of audits and expect a high degree of professionalism and responsibility, be able to work remotely in an autonomous fashion, whilst demonstrating the ability to balance multiple engagements and demands.
Responsibilities:
- Execute GRC engagements for existing clients including planning, execution and reporting activities which includes control mapping and analytics, client interviews, and preparation of client deliverables.
- Manage multiple projects across multiple clients across the globe
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through quality execution of reviews and timely communication
- Bring technical and practical knowledge to the execution and oversight of audits
- Stay current with the trends in the relevant industries and compliance auditing
Requirements
- Ability to adapt to different compliance frameworks and cultural differences while executing audits globally.
- Strong communication skills - Ability to articulate verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work with a global team across multiple time zones with flexibility.
- Strong project management skillset, and ability to handle multiple conflicting priorities with different stakeholders.
- Strong data analytics capability, in excel and other data tools.
- Ability to handle difficult people, uncomfortable situations, and work well under pressure.
- Out-of-the-box thinking, ability to grasp new concepts and adapt to new circumstances quickly.
- Professional and personable demeanor.
- Hardworking, detail oriented and able to work well independently and in a team environment.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, MIS or equivalent required
- MBA/CPA/CA or other relevant certification is not required, but a plus.
- 25%-35%+ domestic and international travel required. (COVID Pending)
