Front End Wordpress Developer

We are looking for a motivated Front End WordPress Developer that is up for becoming part of the team for long-term growth. The successful candidate will be working for a startup Digital Agency based in Australia.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Managing weekly software updates of clients' WordPress websites
• Managing monthly support requests from clients (through support ticket center)
• Developing WordPress themes and pages in Beaver Builder / Beaver Themer for new client projects
• Applying new plugin features to clients' WordPress websites
• Working to resolve issues related to WordPress websites and client hosting
• Assisting in maintaining the client’s website speed performance and security.
• Mobile and speed optimizing existing websites.

Requirements

• At least 5+ years of experience in developing WordPress sites and themes.
• A free thinker, willing to look for answers.
• Confidence in coding HTML5, CSS3, PHP and JavaScript.
• Fully understands responsive coding.
• Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for preparing and slicing mockup designs.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience in cross-browser compliance issues.
• Experience in web hosting performance and security issues.
• Able to work remotely
