Our client is looking for a customer service specialist with excellent skills in using Microsoft Excel, to assist them in their growing business.
Our Australian client is a freight broker. They arrange and manage the domestic freight for their clients, shipping large quantities of items around Australia using road transport
They are in need of a Customer Service Representative to help them manage the day to day freight operations.
This includes:
- handling inbound calls to book freight
- creating freight bookings on trucking company's online portals
- calling the fright company to investigate late or missing deliveries
You will also be assisting the owners with ad hoc admin tasks as well as invoicing, so you will need to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and excellent Excel skills
Requirements
- Excellent written and spoken English (will eventually speak to clients)
- Has at least 2 years Customer Service experience
- Great customer service skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience in the freight or trucking industry
- Fast and accurate data entry skills to create consignments
- Ability to think independently (ie identify errors in data and flag issues with shipments etc)
Your experience with an Australian trucking company or freight broking service will help you to get immediately shortlisted for this role.
MUST HAVE:
- a good working PC/Laptop with MS Office (version 2013 or latest) installed
- a quiet private space at home
- a noise-cancelling headset
- a reliable wired internet connection (speed should be at least 5Mbps for both downloading amp; uploading)
