Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual who can communicate and work closely with the Head of Development and other senior members of the Business towards streamlining business operations by implementing best practices within Salesforce. The Salesforce Engineer/Administrator will be responsible for managing and enhancing the Salesforce ecosystem, including workflows, data management, and integrations and administration duties, enabling the company to streamline processes and get the most out of Salesforce.


Duties amp; Responsibilities:

  • Manage and/or collaborate on all projects that are linked to our Salesforce account.
  • Configure and implement agreed system enhancements and create and maintain related documentation.
  • As required, design enhancements that meet business requirements, and identify and document all impacts, risks, and dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
  • Present pre-release showcases as required and assist in training new users to help with adoption across the organization.
  • Test the stability and functionality of the platform and identify and address risks.
  • Ensure validity and reliability of data in Salesforce and related systems
  • Creating and maintaining customizations on the Salesforce.com platform using Salesforce technologies - Apex, Visualforce, Triggers, and Lightning Components
  • Owning services end-to-end from requirements to design, development and deployment, and support
  • Helping to drive the engineering rhythm and process of the team from planning, design, coding, deployment, through to support
  • Continuously improve skills and helping the team continuously improve its processes
  • Collaborating as part of an agile team
  • Taking ownership of the systems you build, which means supporting debugging, monitoring, and alerting in production.


Requirements

  • Minimum 4+ experience with SalesForce CRM and Marketing cloud.
  • Hands-on delivery experience with Salesforce administrative functions including user account maintenance, rules, automation, workflows, and other routine tasks.
  • Solid understanding of version control and experience using Git.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.


Not necessary, but is a bonus:

  • Ability to write Apex code.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce design patterns
