Day to day job:

• You will work closely with other members of the hububble team to produce cutting-edge websites for our clients. Responsibilities will include UI and UX development for custom websites, including but not limited to theme and application development for the HubSpot platform.
• You will be responsible for both the development and ongoing revision of our websites, web applications and other digital products.

Key responsibilities:

• Bring visual design to life; develop and implement front-end web code and design standards and writing clean, semantic and maintainable code, following modern best practices.
• A bridge between users, UI/UX designers, and backend developers.

We’re a HubSpot Agency, so you will be expected to know (or be able learn on the job) how to work in the HubsSpot development environment, You will be be responsible for the following tasks:

• Web development and content builds in HubSpot CMS for website pages, blogs, emails and landing pages
• Creating modular content templates for use by content authors and editors.
• Utilize HubDB and HubL templating language to pull in dynamic content from the COS.
• Integrate HubSpot with third-party platforms as needed.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues.

Requirements

• Ability to learn quickly on the go. Prefer clean code. Passion for new tech.
• Be able to work independently, also a good team player.
• The candidate will have great communication skills.
• Experience with cross-browser compatibility techniques.
• Experience with frontend technologies or frontend frameworks.
• Proactive, good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Loves trying out new technologies and sharing with the team what problems do the new technologies address.

• Strong understanding of Javascript. (Ideally ES6)
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
• Respect coding convention, language standard syntax, documentation.
• Experience with frontend building tools - mainly Webpack.
• Experience with modern JS tools (Babel, current ECMAScript standards).
• Coding CSS in SCSS with structure, such as Atomic CSS, BEM, ITCSS, etc.
• Familiar with Git and Github interface, you must know the difference between rebase and merge, good practice of git commit messages, etc.
• Proficiency working with external APIs and data
• Good understanding of user interface, user experience, usability and accessibility best practices on the web.

• Experience with static site generators such as Hugo or GastbyJS.
• Basic working knowledge of backend programming logic in order to work with languages such as WordPress sites, laravel projects, MySQL Databases, or other CMS.
• Experience with animation/motion graphics (For front-end user interface and experience such as LottieJS).
• HubSpot development experience
• Understanding of web security and best practices
