User Acceptance Tester

Job Description
Banxa is looking for a passionate User acceptance tester to join our global team and ensure a high level of quality and delivery of our products. This role is fully remote.
Banxa is a digital banking infrastructure provider and fiat gateway partner for many of the world's biggest crypto currency exchanges like Binance, OKEx or KuCoin.

We offer a fully compliant fiat-to-crypto conversion service that provides regulatory compliance, fraud detection and mitigation. Banxa addresses the issue of user experience and on-boarding while providing the much-needed regulatory assurances for newcomers to this nascent digital asset class.
You will work remotely with our Melbourne (Australia) based product/tech team and Philippines based support team. Because of this, we have a preference for the successful candidate to be also based in the Philippines. You will work on both our B2B and customer facing fiat-to-crypto exchanges. You will be part of a team required to build and maintain highly scalable and available systems that will operate globally. Testing of high quality, robust, secure and efficient software solutions that efficiently meet business and customer expectations.
Your responsibilities
- Conducts a variety of tests and analyses to ensure that systems and or applications meet or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements.
- Works closely with key stakeholders to understand business and functional requirements to develop test plans, test cases and scripts.
- Executes test scripts according to application requirements documentation.
- Identifies defects and recommends appropriate course of action; performs root cause analyses.
- Retests after corrections are made to ensure problems are resolved.
- Documents, evaluates and researches test results for future replication.
- Identifies, recommends and implements process improvements to enhance testing strategies.
- Interfaces with development teams if clarification is needed on requirements or to convey test results.
- Exhibits good understanding of concepts and principles in their own technical area and a basic knowledge of these elements in other areas.
- Makes evaluative judgments based on analysis of factual information.
- Requires sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills to exchange complex information.
- Provides informal guidance to new team members.
Requirements
Your Skills
- Minimum of 4 years experience of Testing software systems
- Requires methodical approach to testing and problem solving.
- Strong knowledge of full software development and testing life cycle
- Experience in test automation using Selenium or other automation tools
- Experience of designing automation frameworks and proven track record of ensuring best practice implementations i.e. code review, code quality gates etc.
- Experience with manual testing for enterprise applications following iterative or agile methodologies
- Experience in writing a range of test artefacts; test plan, test cases, test reports etc
- Experience with reporting test status to stakeholders
- Previous experience with automation on REST API services
- Previous experience working remotely and autonomously with to set, meet and report on goals
- Fast internet connection and laptop
