Job Description

• Take a brief to grasp the needs and objectives of every project
• Review shooting script, assemble amp; proof raw material to determine proper sequencing
• Manipulate film and video footage using modern editing techniques
• Trim footage segments and put together the rough project
• Correct faulty footage, grade amp; colour, and add graphics amp; special effects
• Input amp; sync dialog, insert suitable sound effects, and select appropriate music
• Reorder and fine-tune elements to ensure logical sequencing
• Oversee the quality of audio amp; video engineering and editing
• Experiment with styles and techniques including the design of graphic elements

Requirements

Qualifications

• 1-3 years video editing experience
• Previous work experience as a Video Editor
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro amp; After Effects
• Thorough knowledge and skill of timing, motivation, and continuity
• Familiarity with creating Youtube amp; Facebook video ads
• Highly creative in storytelling through editing
• Wide range of knowledge in music genres and visual design
• Knowledge in Videography (Filming and Directing) is a plus
• Knowledge in Motion Graphics is a plus
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
