OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEWZeroFOX seeks a software engineer to build and develop custom integrations into industry leading SIEM, SOAR, and TIP platforms. This individual should have a strong grasp of the security space, values of these types of platforms and working with RESTful API’s.
You’ll join the Global Field Support team to help drive quick value for our prospects and customers. You’ll directly work with and engage a team of software engineers, data scientists, and security experts who are disrupting the cyber security industry and protecting organizations from social media risk. - Help build and drive integrations into 3rd party applications and OEM providers
- Develop integrations and components to communicate with our core SaaS platform
- Extensively work with our API toolkit built with the Django REST framework
- Develop using both relational and NoSQL databases and caches, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Redis
Qualifications
- Software Engineering experience developing applications with Python
- Industry experience typically obtained in 2-5 years
- Clear, concise, thoughtful communication skills
- Comfort working and designing RESTful API services
- An eye for new and exciting libraries / technologies and willingness to shout about them to the rest of the team
- Ability to work effectively within a geographically dispersed team
- Experience with AWS services, such as EC2 and RDS
- Familiarity with tools like GitHub
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, or equivalent experience preferred
