SUMMARY

• The Jr. Finance Business Partner supports the Sr. Finance Business Partner in full spectrum of Finance and Accounting function with a mere emphasis on statutory, accounting, closing, reporting, and business controlling for L Beauty (Philippines) which is a joint venture company between LVMH Perfumes amp; Cosmetics and Luxasia.

STATUTORY

• Works with External Auditor in FS finalization and annual ITR
• Calculation of tax and BIR filing (i.e. EWT, VAT, quarterly ITR)
• Performs tax audit in other Governmental bodies (i.e. product registration, local business tax)
• Ad hoc tax requirement (i.e. Transfer Pricing, Inventory Destruction)
• Statutory admin (i.e Directors Resolution, bank signatories, updating of business permits)

ACCOUNTING

• AR, AP, and GL function due to but not limited to:
  • Analysis of Ageing report and highlight issues if any, and perform reconciliation with customers and vendors
  • Verify amp; Approve PR amp; Non-PO in the AP automation software
  • Provision of Cost Allocation for Interco amp; other Non-PO invoices
  • Ensure proper recognition of expenses (in accordance to IFRS standards)
  • Reconcile suppliers statement
  • Prepare audit schedules and perform reconciliation on intercompany balances where necessary
  • Validation of Employee Reimbursement, reconciliation of unliquidated cash advances
  • Works on account for stock transfers (release of request for transfer in SAP)
  • Support during stock-takes
  • Maintain and control check books and other banking documents, bank recon update
  • Review of transactions and supporting documents before submission for re-billing (intercompany)

CLOSING

• Prepares and Posts the ff. requirements.:
  • Recurring Journal Entries + Entries from Brands + Accruals Review and Reversals
  • Pre-Payments/Deposits Entries
  • Monthly Payroll Journal Entries
  • Monthly Marketing Accruals
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliation
• Books stock obsolescence provision
• Enters manual bank transfers with appropriate supporting documents

REPORTING

• Sending the following reports to the respective brands accordingly:
  • Net sales report
  • Weekly sales invoices
  • Pamp;L
  • Sales/COGS/Inv. Per SKU
  • TRE in Syrus

BUSINESS CONTROLLING

• Monitoring of Local Capex (Capex requests, follow-up of commitments, spendings and cash out)
• Provides analytical support to cross-function initiatives and ad hoc projects

Requirements

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• University degree holder in Accounting or related disciplines; holders of CPA qualification will be an advantage
• At least 2-4 years of relevant working experience in financial analysis, tax, and reporting preferred
• Excellent oral and written communications in the English language
• Master in Excel template design and use, Powerpoint and Word
• Willingness to work in BGC, Taguig City.
