The Client Development Manager (CDM) is responsible developing and gaining new accounts and/or business opportunities as well as meeting or exceeding budget target and KPI.
a. Sets short-term and long-term target accounts using Sales Force
b. Creates account plan, program and strategy to increase productivity with collaboration with other business unit(s).
c. Achieves all required target budget and KPI’s.
2. Client Sourcing and Development
a. Generates leads that cater to accounts focusing on Tech Enabled Logistics.
b. Establishes new relationships by converting leads into prospect accounts
c. Conducts sales visits, sales calls and eventually closing the deals
d. Ensure that quotations or proposals are submitted as required by the customer within the set time frame
e. Completes CFSPI accreditation and account activation requirements are compiled prior actual onboarding of business credit line application, approved or signed quotations/contracts, detailed customer requirements, reports (if any), etc. to ensure smooth movement of shipments.
3. Client Relationship and Retention Management
a. Manages, maintains, and improves service requirement with existing customers.
b. Identifies opportunities to upsell new services to existing clients
c. Ensures that client concerns are addressed on a timely manner.
4. Collaboration with internal teams
a. Coordinates with Marketing Executive for any campaigns and promotions regarding the product/service.
b. Communicates closely with Operations Team to ensure that all customer requirements are completed, complied, monitored and are forwarded to all concerned business unit/s or product heads
c. Coordinates with Business Units and/or Management Team/heads for joint sales calls, if required
d. Assists Finance with timely billing and successful payment collection.
