In this role, you will be conducting quality assurance testing on all our web applications. You will ensure all editorial, graphics, content and coding conventions are addressed. This process includes testing the entire functionality of our web applications, in multiple browsers and platforms, and report any issues and/or defects detected.
Your duties and responsibilities as a Web Quality Assurance includes, but are not limited to:
- Testing web applications and mobile applications
- Employing a variety of testing methodologies such as Manual, Integration, Regression, User Acceptance, etc.
- Performing multi-platform and cross browser testing
- UI/UX Testing
- Preparing test plans and execute test cases
- Creating and maintaining automated test scripts
- Creating detailed bug and test reports
- Peer-reviewing test cases and automated test scripts
- Taking part in team’s entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Actively participating in Agile/Scrum team activities
Requirements
Must have skills:
- Capable of preparing test plans and executing test cases
- Skilled in testing websites, web applications and/or mobile applications
- Experienced using operating systems such as Windows, Linux and MacOS
- Proficient in cross-browser testing (Firefox, Safari, Chrome, IE/Edge)
- Knowledgeable in HTML, CSS
- Very attentive to details
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to think outside of the box and find creative ways to solve problems
- Must possess Bachelor’s/College Degree in any field; preferably in an IT related field
Preferred skills:
- Familiar with Python, PHP and JavaScript
- Knowledgeable in Agile/Scrum methodology
- Performed UI/UX testing
- Proficient with Robot Framework, Selenium, Appium
- Skilled with Jenkins, Docker
- Exposed to using Postman and CURL
- Experienced with Git
- Proficient with Jira, Zephyr, Phabricator
