About Banxa

Banxa is looking for great people with great attitudes to join our amazing Philippines team. Banxa is an online payment provider that specialises in cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin. We work with many of the world's biggest crypto currency exchanges including Binance, OKEx or KuCoin. Our compliance support team is based in the Philippines, in the greater Manilla area. This role is full remote and is a great opportunity for those who prefer to work from home to be closer to their families. You will also work with our friendly team in Australia who are based in Melbourne. We are welcoming and really care about the members of our Philippines team.

Whilst you will be working remotely, you always feel close to your colleagues as we work together like a family. About The Role

As a Customer Onboarding Specialist you will be responsible for analysing each customer’s account and each transaction to ensure these meet our requirements.

Your day to day responsibilities will include:

  • analysing and verifying customer accounts for authenticity;
  • analysing and interpreting identity document reports for customers who failed verification;
  • requesting additional documentation from customers where required;
  • escalating customer accounts and transactions to senior team members for additional review
  • analysing payment information to determine if payments have been received and are authentic;
  • troubleshooting customer issues with completing account creation and making payments; and
  • providing training and assistance to other new team members when needed.

This role is in the exciting area of cryptocurrency so is a great opportunity to gain experience in this new market which will become the future of money.


Requirements

About You

You thrive in a high pace, fast moving environment. You have a positive attitude, high attention to detail and understand the importance of following a process.

Your skills, experience and equipment will include:

  • at least 1 year of experience working in a business process outsourcing environment, preferably supporting finance or accounts teams;
  • excellent written and spoken English;
  • experience with and competent in processing a high volume of cases quickly;
  • experience analysing information and summarising conclusions accurately;
  • preferable if you have experience analysing identity documents or payments;
  • fast internet connection (5mpbs broadband internet connection)
  • your own laptop or desktop computer (minimum Core i3 2.70GHz Laptop or Desktop, with 6-8 GB of RAM)
  • whilst not necessary candidates who have experience in fast growing companies or fully remote roles will be preferred.

To be eligible for this role you must be able to work either during the night or on weekends.
