The Business Planning Analyst is responsible for assistance in analysing operational data, combined with the financial statements of the company, in order to project and predict future performance of RISE. This may include forecasting future revenues and expenditures, competition analysis, preparation of operational reports as well as modeling capital structure and budgeting.Duties and responsibilities
  • Grow financial performance through analysis of financial results, forecasts, variances, and trends.
  • Assistance in the preparation of business cases for special projects that the company may consider pursuing in order to provide insightful information to facilitate decision making processes of the management team.
  • Perform financial and operational data forecasting, reporting and tracking
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Aid in the capital budgeting and expenditure planning processes.
  • Perform market research, assistance in data mining, business intelligence, and valuation.
  • Assistance in the development of financial models to support valuation, planning, and forecasting.
  • Assistance in the development of financial models through benchmarking and process analysis.
  • Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
  • Maintenance of a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models.
  • Assistance in the design and implementation of new processes to improve effectiveness of planning and forecasting processes.
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports and tools.
  • Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.Work closely with the key business units to ensure accurate financial and operational reporting and decision support.
Qualifications
  • Degree in relevant area; Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics and Communications are preferred major fields
  • Preferable 1+ year of business finance, multidisciplinary project management or other relevant experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including English written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; be comfortable interacting with executive-level management
  • Financial modeling experience is a plus
  • Experience working with and presenting to senior executives is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills
  • Massive enthusiasm for collaboration and attention to detail.
  • Interest in having a first-hand execution experience across all major business units in a fast-paced, intense, and deeply fulfilling professional environment.
