About the Job

We’re searching for a Payroll Manager to assist and audit payroll operations to ensure accurate and timely payments for our employees. This role will also assist in implementing system and process efficiencies to ensure highly accurate, compliant and efficient payroll processing.


As Payroll Manager, You Will

  • Oversee biweekly payroll processing for hourly amp; salary employees (including new-hires, terminations, employee changes, importing of hours, garnishments, and issuing Records of Employment)
  • Lead our year end T4 and W2 processes
  • Administer employee benefits
  • Mentor and provide support to Payroll Administrators
  • Deliver prompt, friendly and efficient customer service to employees with payroll inquiries
  • Keep informed on legislation and regulatory rulings impacting payroll




Requirements

As Payroll Manager, You Have

  • A minimum of 10 years of payroll experience with 3+ years in a supervisory role
  • Strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage a multi-project workload with tight deadlines
  • The ability to complete tasks with accuracy and timeliness
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • The ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced, always changing environment
  • The ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization and work with a variety of people from diverse backgrounds
  • Rational decision making skills
  • The ability to plan and monitor for results
