About the group and team
Creating and maintaining a creative, fun, safe and productive workspace will be the personification of being part of the Vibe team. This includes everything from planning future spaces, keeping our existing space functioning efficiently, to preparing healthy meals. This role will allow us to look into the future, strategise and tackle the problems that will have the biggest impact at Canva and map to our goal of making the most productive and inspirational place in the world to work.
About the candidate
Do you have a solid background of the overall procurement process? Do you have strong analytical and negotiation skills? Great! Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment? Then you’re exactly what we’re looking for!
As the procurement officer, you will be in charge of the following tasks under the procure-to-pay process:
- Supplier Accreditation - Ensure that all documents required by finance and legal are completely submitted before the onboarding process
- Contract Administration - Manage the master purchase agreement execution and check vendor compliance to the agreed terms and conditions
- Sourcing - Request for pricing based on the specifications provided by the end user
- Negotiation - Secure the best possible cost, terms and warranty of the project/requirement
- Monitoring of Deliveries - Coordinate committed timelines of the supplier to the stakeholder and ensure that they are followed
- PO processing - Create the purchase order based on the agreed costing and terms
- Vendor evaluation - Assess vendor performance based on pricing, delivery, production capacity, quality, technical capabilities and after sales support
What we look for:
- Graduate of Business Administration or any related course
- With at least 3 years of related work experience
- With skills in Commodity Management, Procurement Negotiation, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Relationship Management, Purchasing, Financial Awareness & Business Profitability, Continuous Process Improvement, Technology Application
- Proficient in Inventory Management
