Position Summary
1. Verify logistics cost and make payment and settlement based on the contract, and minimize unnecessary costs.
2. Responsible for analyzing and interpreting data and providing logistics information to aid cost effective, efficient, timely and high quality logistics solutions.
Role and Responsibilities
1. [Logistics cost management] Performs managing logistics freight rates for all shipping and warehousing vendors and insurers, and analyze whether logistics costs is paid according to the freight contracts.
2. [Warehouse and transportation security] Checks the security level of warehouse, shipping vendors and etc. to minimize risks such as theft, loss, etc.
3. [Solving logistics operational issues] Participates in identifying the cause and the optimal solution for issues that arise during the logistics operations.
4. Undertake detailed and thorough logistics analysis and identify opportunities to aid efficiency and cost optimization through evaluation of data
5. Ensure reliability, integrity and accuracy of data
6. Ensure analysis is in line with business goals and targets
7. Create statistical and financial models to review opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies in the logistics process, such as inventory levels, budget or transportation schedules
8. Make recommendations based on findings and analysis
9. Ensure logistics costs are monitored, managed and under control
