Job Description
For the General Accountant role, the team is seeking a candidate who demonstrates a combination of technical expertise, analytical and problem-solving skills, communication and interpersonal skills, cultural fit with the organization, and a results-oriented mindset.

Job Description:
1. Financial Accuracy and Efficiency
- Financial Reporting: Monitor the completeness and accuracy of client financials.
- Reconciliation: Ensure timely completion of bank and general ledger (GL) reconciliations.
- Process Improvement: Quantify the number of hours saved through process efficiency or automation initiatives.
2. Stakeholder Support
- Response Time: Evaluate the average turnaround time for responding to internal and external client support requests.
- Issue Resolution: Track the percentage of accounting issues resolved directly without needing escalation.
3. Training and Process Development
- Process Documentation: Count the number of updates or new process documents contributed to improve department workflows.
Requirements & Skills
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: You will manage all financial records, ensuring accurate and real-time data for trial balances. You'll prepare and analyze monthly profit and loss statements, process journal entries, and assist in developing quarterly financial reports with insightful analysis.
- Business Support: You'll act as a financial partner to various departments, assisting with financial reporting, costing, and pricing models. You will also review business documents to ensure financial clarity and alignment with company goals.
- Process Improvement: You will be encouraged to proactively identify opportunities to improve financial processes and recommend solutions that enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ad Hoc Tasks: You will provide business continuity support by assisting with urgent tasks when the Finance Manager is absent, ensuring uninterrupted operations.
