Job Description:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, create financial forecasts, and develop long-term financial strategies.
- Prepare budgets and track performance against them, identifying areas for improvement.
- Analyze variances in financial performance, monitor trends, and advise on areas of cost savings or revenue growth.
- Present insights and recommendations to leadership to guide decision-making and improve financial outcomes.
- Work cross-functionally with teams like sales, operations, and HR to align on financial goals and ensure transparent communication.
- Contribute to business development and expansion plans by providing financial insights on new projects, products, or markets.
- Preparing accurate and detailed P&L statements for each business unit. This includes income and expense reporting and ensures the alignment of financial data with overall company objectives.
- Produce financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Monitored compliance with statutory obligations and financial regulations, avoiding penalties and fines.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, coordinate audits, and assist with tax filings.
- Monitor cash flow to ensure the company has sufficient funds for operations.
- Contribute to strategic financial planning to support long-term company goals.
Requirements & Skills
Minimum qualifications:
- Education - Graduate Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Bachelor of Science in Commerce Major in Management Accounting; A Certified Public Accountant
- Ability to maintain computerized bookkeeping records; experience in using Quickbooks / XERO preferred.
- With at least 5 years of experience, with 3 years in a managerial position.
- Good oral and written communication skills (and has leadership potentials)
