One CoreDev IT, an Information Technology and Services company, is seeking a highly motivated Backend Developer to join their team. As an Employer of Record (EOR) company based in the Philippines, One CoreDev IT has been serving global customers for more than 20 years by pairing them with top tier Filipino developers, designers, project managers, and other back-office employees. The Backend Developer will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving One CoreDev IT's technological infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in web technologies and excellent problem-solving skills.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop web applications
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the team's coding standards
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in web development
• Implement and maintain security and data protection protocols
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in web development
• Proficient in server-side programming languages such as PHP and Node.js
• Solid experience with databases such as MySQL and MongoDB
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and development
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Good understanding of AWS or other cloud computing services
