We're seeking an Accountant who will work on analyzing monthly financial statement accounts, executing month-end journal entries, designing business processes and providing team support in an ambiguous and dynamic business environment. The candidate has strong analytical and problem-solving skills and has the ability to work and perform in a fun, agile and fast paced business environment.How you will achieve success: - Document policies and processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls; design business processes and recommend process improvements.
- Analyze monthly financial statement accounts against prior month and prior year actuals; execute month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Identify problems and recommend solutions to resolve issues including summarizing and communicating recommendations to leadership.
- Design reporting and metrics; provide analysis and interpret data to build recommendations that drive action.
- Execute tasks and provide team support in an ambiguous and dynamic business environment to meet company, department and team metrics.
What experiences will help you in this role: - Bachelor's degree in business related field with 3 years' experience in accounting/business/finance field preferred.
- CPA and public accounting experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP required, SQL experience a plus, skillset in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exposure to analytical tools and ability to adapt quickly to new technology.
This is a remote position and requires candidates to have an available work-from-home setup Desktop/Laptop system requirements: - 4th generation or higher, at least Intel i3 or equivalent processor; - at least 4GB RAM; - Windows 10 and above or MAC OSX operating system - You are required to provide your own dual monitorsA strong and stable internet connection (A DSL, cable or fiber wired internet service with 10 Mbps plan or higher for primary connection)PC HeadsetA high-definition (HD) external or integrated webcam with at least 720p resolution.
