Position: Research Assistant amp; Coordinator
Work Hours: Amenable to working at least 5 hours of potential overlap Monday - Thursday from 9 am-2 pm Eastern time zone (GMT -5) the remaining hours can be flexible
Pay Range:$800 - $1300

Job Summary:
The research coordinator is responsible for supporting and progressing the research operations of the Company with guidance and oversight from the Head of Research and the Engagement Team.
This includes:
• Participating in data collection and analysis related to original empirical research projects (qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods)
• Other common activities may include conducting benchmarking and rapid literature reviews on assigned topics based on academic and industry sources,
• Writing about relevant research findings for internal amp; external audiences. This could include internal research overview reports, blog articles, content for an overall whitepaper, etc..
• Developing/sharing research insights with members of the team to support specific client projects and broader organizational OKRs.
• Completing administrative tasks supporting those projects, e.g. arranging / scheduling interviews, creating and updating project tasks in our project planning tool (Asana), summarizing research activities, and communicating updates.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participating in internal and client research projects (empirical and conceptual) including data collection, analysis, synthesis, reporting, and administrative support.
- Maintaining the company research library (on Zotero). Assisting with survey/assessment development, deployment, and reporting.
- Sharing insights from relevant research to support client work and broader company KPIs.
- Collaborating with colleagues to support learning design, marketing, assessment development, and other efforts with quality research sources.
- Colleagues will reach out with the types of information they are seeking and you will provide back summaries, insights, and information related to the request.
- Writing amp; contributing to blog posts, conference proposals/presentations, whitepapers, and other research-based artifacts as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree at minimum, Master's Degree or related research experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in research methods.
- Use of Slack for internal team communication and Asana for project management/updating of tasks across internal team
- Use of Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, PowerPoint, excel, word, teams)
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and information and provide insights.
- Comfortable trying and testing new AI-type tools to aid in the process of writing, research discovery, and more. However, not relying solely on technology to perform work and deliver output.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for marketing and a willingness to learn and adapt in a Fastpaced environment
