What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in IT support, telco, or similar role
- Experience with Zendesk or similar service desk ticketing system.
- Experience with Microsoft InTunes
- Experience troubleshooting printers, scanners and AV equipment.
- Experience troubleshooting MS O365, Exchange and GoogleSuite
- Good understanding of computer hardware and operating systems
- Good understanding with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Nice to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field a plus
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL, MSCA and CCNA
What will you do?
- Serve as a primary point of contact for escalated Level 1 and 2 support issues
- Diagnose and troubleshoot advanced hardware, software, and network problems for desktops, laptops, servers, and other IT infrastructure components.
- Perform system administration tasks, including server maintenance, configuration, and monitoring, to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Implement and manage security measures such as antivirus software, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems to protect against cyber threats and unauthorized access
- Collaborate with other IT teams, vendors, and third-party service providers to resolve complex technical issues and implement IT projects and initiative
- Document and maintain comprehensive records of technical issues, resolutions, and configurations to facilitate knowledge sharing and problem resolution.
