This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, Dayshift.

This is an office-based position in central Cebu City

The expected start date is March 2024.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Accounts Receivable Coordinator role is a vital position responsible for managing financial transactions and customer accounts. Your role involves setting up and maintaining customer accounts, assessing credit risks, and promptly responding to customer inquiries. You will collect payments, record them accurately, and communicate with customers to facilitate timely payments and arrange payment plans. You will play a significant role in maintaining the financial health of the organization and contributing to its success.

Responsibilities

  • Set up new customer accounts and maintain existing accounts based on payment terms, drug schedules, and contact information.
  • Assess the creditworthiness and risk level of customers to determine their ability to fulfill outstanding credit obligations.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer requests and inquiries, including issuing invoices, credit notes, statements, payments, and refunds through various channels such as electronic platforms and phone.
  • Collect payments from customers and accurately record transactions in the system.
  • Communicate with customers to request payment and arrange suitable payment plans when necessary.
  • Proactively facilitate payment of invoices by sending reminders and contacting clients.
  • Generate financial statements and reports that provide a comprehensive overview of accounts receivable status.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and internal procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency in customer account management.

Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a relevant field.
    • At least 3+ years of relevant experiencein Account Receivables.
    • Proficiency in Ms Excel, accounting software and MS Office 365.
    • Excellent verbal and written English and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.
    • Customer service orientation and negotiation skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, and work on multiple assignments.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • High level of integrity and professionalism.
