Job Description
Salary: P80,000 to P95,000 (Monthly Package)
Schedule: Monday Friday(06:00 AM - 03:00 PM PH Time)
What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in financial management, accounting, or related roles, preferably in a startup environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in financial software Xero and Microsoft Excel (or Google Sheets).
- Experience in preparing and submitting tax returns, with a solid understanding of tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate actionable insights.
Nice to Have:
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and interface with external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting and analysis.
What will you do?
- You will be responsible for overseeing financial processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth trajectory.
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Record all financial transactions promptly and accurately in the appropriate accounting software.
- Generate customer invoices and track accounts receivable, following up on overdue payments as necessary.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and any other applicable taxes.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements related to financial reporting and taxation.
- Prepare financial analyses, performance metrics, and KPIs to evaluate business performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Generate ad-hoc financial reports and presentations for senior management and board meetings.
