Job Title: Accountant
Pay rate: $1,000-1,800/month
Work hours: M-F, flexible hours with 2 hours MST overlap

We are currently seeking a Bookkeeper or an Accountant who is proficient in QuickBooks Online and Drake Tax Preparation software. The candidate would specialize in retroactive accounting and tax resolution. This role would require extensive reconciliation of bookkeeping for multiple years on QuickBooks Online.
About the Role:
This is not a traditional bookkeeping role where the maintenance of current books is a priority; the focus will primarily be on catching up on past books. The ideal candidate for the role is a QuickBooks Pro Advisor or at least has substantial QuickBooks Online experience specifically.
Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping reconciliations of bank, credit cards, and loan statements
- Perform bookkeeping duties involving multiple months or even years of retroactive accounts using QuickBooks Online.
- Collaborate with internal team members to address financial challenges and provide solutions
- Stay up to date and maintain with past and current books
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Above Average to Good Communication skills
- A licensed accountant (EA or CPA) is preferred.
- Proficient in Quickbooks Online (Quickbooks pro advisor), Excel, Google Sheets, and Office 365
- Nice to have experience in Drake Tax Preparation Software
- Attention to detail and accuracy and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
