General Duties

  • Handle all aspects of Visual Merchandising for various assigned Luxasia brands
  • Work closely with Marketing, Retail, and Training of specific brands and report directly to the VM Manager
  • Understand merchandising guidelines and ensure all stores are always in compliance: visuals, display elements, testers, and other merchandising elements
  • Understand marketing calendars and ensure all new launches or initiatives for the period follow merchandising guidelines.


Specific Job Duties

Merchandising elements

  • Forecast for merchandising elements on new launches / monthly initiatives, following Regional guidelines
  • In all stores, ensure timely ordering and correct display of all merchandising elements for new launches / monthly initiatives, according to Regional guidelines.

Design

  • Understand guidelines from Regional (e.g. trade animation, store visuals, store displays) and implement these locally
  • Render 3d perspective of applicable designs ( store animation, store opening etc)
  • PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Handle production, delivery and re-order of point-of-sale materials developed by Regional

Visuals

  • Understand Regional guidelines on store visuals and place the correct orders accordingly
  • Render, resize and handle production and installation of all visuals applicable to certain brands
  • Ensure all stores are displaying the correct visuals during the right period
  • Assist on ad hoc visual simulations

Submission of VM-related reports and figures

  • Submit monthly store pictures that show all VM guidelines are being followed correctly.
  • Submit ad hoc figures requested by Regional. Examples are: Excel file template asking for number of each type of furniture per store, how many quantities forecasted for particular merchandising element, etc.
  • Database of all the brands applicable : modules, risers, props etc

Miscellaneous

  • Conduct regular store visits to ensure all VM guidelines are correctly followed.
  • Ensure all physical aspects of all assigned brands are working and in good condition. Example: no busted lights, drawers amp; cabinets are working, no frayed wires, etc.
  • Trade Animations and Special Events: ensure VM guidelines are followed, similar to the level of detail given to permanent stores


Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree holder of Fine Arts, Interior Design or Industrial design
  • Formal training in any of these: graphic design, or industrial design, or exhibition design, or interior design
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in visual merchandising for the Beauty Industry
  • Has experience in visual merchandising for retail boutiques.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or SketchUp
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCad
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
