Position Duties
As an Accounting Tech Support Specialist at Sleek, you will be the go-to expert for resolving accounting software and technical issues. Your strong understanding of accounting principles and software systems, coupled with exceptional problem-solving skills, will contribute to delivering effective solutions and maintaining seamless financial operations, such as:
- Manage and maintain our accounting softwares, internal platform, receipts system and other related applications
- Provide expert technical support to internal teams and clients, addressing inquiries related to accounting software functionality, data integrity, and troubleshooting via email and ticketing systems
- Participate in software updates, patches, and enhancements, coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation
- Provide training and assistance to users on software functionality, best practices, and process improvements
- Document and maintain accurate records of support requests, solutions, and troubleshooting procedures for reference and future use
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process automation and optimization, enhancing the efficiency of operations
- Assist in data migration and integration projects involving accounting software applications
- Stay up-to-date with accounting software advancements and best practices to contribute insights and recommendations to the team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience (at least 2 years) in providing technical support for accounting software applications
- Strong interest and basic knowledge in both IT support and accounting principles
- Familiarity with accounting software applications such as Xero, ERPNext, QuickBooks, SAP or similar platforms
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical issues
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new technologies, and work well within a team environment
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a dynamic tech support environment
