Position : Customer Service Specialist
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8AM-4PM PST (12AM-8AM MNL Time)
Salary: USD 800 - 1500
Holidays: Standard PH holidays off

A US-based direct-to-customer company selling funeral caskets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
We are establishing a world-class and first consumer brand in funeral products, and are looking for a Customer Service Specialist to help us scale our operations and client service. In this role, you will work directly with the founders and management team as we scale the business.
· Correspond with customers via phone, online chat, and e-mail (both transactional/updates, as well as inbound)
· Correspond with B2B customers via phone, online chat, and e-mail
· Coordinate with rest of team on shared tasks
· Potentially growth marketing activities as needed
· Generate PO's
· Book shipments and generate BOL's
· Quality control - ensure that order details match in all systems
· Track shipments via shipper systems
Requirements
- At least 2 years of previous experience in customer support
- Extremely detail oriented - obsessed over accuracy. This is the most important skillset and attribute. We sell funeral caskets to grieving families - things can go wrong from time to time, but we need to be obsessed over every detail to ensure that we are not the root cause.
- Highly proficient in written and spoken English
- Excellent communication skills
- Empathetic customer service/customer success
- Ownership - drives problems/open issues with urgency until resolved
- Working knowledge in Google Workspace, AirTable, QuickBooks, and Slack desired
