you will play a key role in supporting our client’s finance department in various tasks related to financial record-keeping and reporting. This position is ideal for an individual with a strong aptitude for numbers and a passion for contributing to the success of a dynamic organization.
Some of the things we expect you to do are to:
- Assist in the day-to-day financial activities, including accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and data entry.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial records to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and address financial queries.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial files and documentation.
- Support the continuous improvement of financial processes and procedures.
Requirements
We would need you to be or have the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of two years experience in a related field
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Xero
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to take on new challenges
