Our client, in the renewable energy sector, is looking for a Bank Loan/Financial Analyst. This role is a unique opportunity for a finance professional with a passion for sustainability and innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Consolidate and analyze financial data, including budgets and income statement forecasts, in line with the company’s objectives and financial health.
- Propose creative solutions and strategies to cut costs and boost financial performance.
- Compile detailed reports on financial status and risks by assembling and summarizing complex data.
- Create financial models, conduct benchmarking, and perform process analysis.
- Undertake business studies focusing on past, future, and comparative performance to develop forecast models.
- Analyze trends to advise the company and recommend actions based on thorough analysis.
- Monitor financial status by analyzing results in comparison with forecasts and rectify discrepancies.
- Stay updated on financial industry developments and contribute to strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
- Lead initiatives to improve processes and policies impacting the department.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- At least one successful project finance experience, with a minimum of five years in the power and renewable energy industry.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications.
- Experience with statistical analysis and statistical software.
- Excellent presentation, reporting, and communication skills.
- Expertise in financial forecasting, analysis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
- Knowledgeable in current financial topics, accounting, tax laws, and the money market.
Working Conditions:
- Willing to work in the head office with willingness for project site visits as required.
