Job Description

Control Risks is a global risk consultancy specialising in helping clients manage political, security, and integrity risks. We provide strategic advice and services to companies operating in complex and challenging environments around the world.

We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Security Consultant to work onsite with our client, an international company, for an initial period of 3-6 months. The Consultant will assist in overseeing the implementation of security processes and controls for a large site, following a recent review.

Requirements

Requirements Summary:

  • 8+ years' experience in corporate International Security Risk Management
  • Military/law enforcement experience, or equivalent academic/commercial experience
  • Ability to integrate security into business decisions and subsequent creation/improvement of associated processes
  • Working knowledge of physical security technologies, methodology, and force management
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to listen, learn and demonstrate initiative
  • Possess an understanding of Strategic, Operational and Tactical aspects of Risk Management
  • Experience building and leveraging cross-functional partnerships and elevating security awareness
  • Flexibility to respond 24/7 to urgent matters with a bias for decisive action
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) in English

Desirable Experience:

  • Degree qualification in related field (Security, Risk Management, Criminology, etc.)
  • Experience in leading Security Risk Management for international or multinational companies at a local, regional or global level
  • Experience conducting sensitive, complex investigations
  • Experience working in multi-national environments
