Position: Virtual Assistant (Retail Buying) - 15523273
Working Hours/Shift: Must be open to working under a shifting schedule or graveyard shift
Salary Range: 1,500 USD

Main Duties amp; Responsibilities:

• Assist with retail buying functions such as product selection and checking availability.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers to gather detailed product information for orders.
• Track and manage all buying activities in our internal database.
• Prepare presentation materials or reports for retail buying decisions.
• Work with shipping and logistics to ensure smooth delivery of ordered products.
• Respond promptly to any product-related inquiries and requests
• Maintain regular communication with the manager to facilitate tasks and keep them updated
• Implement strategies to improve buying processes and supplier relationships
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints related to product orders
• Order supplies and equipment; maintain service contracts
• Solve problems associated with suppliers regarding shipments, billing, and statements
• Monitor expenditures, process payment requests for reimbursement; prepare purchase orders, and purchase requisitions, and ensure proper procedures for paying service providers, consultants, and contractors.
• Handle administrative tasks
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience as a Virtual Assistant in retail industry preferably in furniture, home or decor space
• Degree in Interior Design; additional qualifications in administration or relevant field would be a plus
• Experience working with tools like Zapier to automate workflows is a plus
• Proficient in relevant software including spreadsheets and customer relationship management tools
