ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a COMMERCIAL CREDIT/LOAN ANALYST for an Australian client. You will be reporting to the Director of the company and handling loans directly from Investors to Borrowers.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Director
- Working with Borrowers and Investors to collect information, assess, contract, fund, manage and complete the loans and investment
- Understanding of lending including:
- Loan calculations, loan interest, loan agreements, lending policies, title deeds, PPSR, Mortgage registration, and what the borrower, guarantor and mortgagor are
- Loan processing and credit analysis.
- This will require a general understanding of project feasibility, property, property development, contracts of sales, construction, construction contracts, property valuations, quantity surveyor report, project costings
- Weekly teams meeting with video and screen sharing.
- Summarise issues and questions for weekly meeting
- Adjusting and request work as time permits, overall diligence
- Answer phone calls, emails and resolve tasks or escalate questions
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or relevant background.
- Australian Commercial Loan experience
- Previous experience in commercial lending is preferred and also in Business process development, and process documentation
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Excel, Word
- Excellent math skills, excel skills, and understanding of loan computations for loan and construction feasibilities
- Strong commercial sense to assess business needs, identify solutions and implement
- Good and clear verbal and written communication
- Time management and project management skills
- Knowledgeable in SQL database, Web development
