Major Responsibilities:
- Allocate tasks and oversee daily workload, including holidays; identify resource gaps and participate in the interview process.
- Lead the setup and onboarding of new team members, ensuring a smooth integration.
- Collaborate with Tech Leads to organize and conduct probation and annual performance reviews.
- Track work progress and regularly communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Establish achievable delivery dates with the team and business stakeholders.
- Manage and escalate risks and issues appropriately.
- Effectively manage dependencies and understand their impact on delivery.
- Incorporate contingency plans for uncertain situations.
- Remove obstacles hindering team progress to ensure work stays on track.
- Organize and lead agile ceremonies (stand-ups, refinements, retrospectives, sprint planning), Provide ongoing coaching on agile practices to team members.
- Understand and document business processes and systems, bridging gaps between stakeholders and the development team. Translate complex business requirements into clear, concise 'cards' for estimation and development.
- Simplify and communicate business requirements to ensure stakeholder buy-in.
- Interact with users to translate their needs into actionable product vision for estimation.
- Ensure user requirements align with business goals and company strategy.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to maintain a well-prioritized product backlog. Leverage domain knowledge to influence and prioritize items in the product backlog.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Project Manager or Business Analyst within IT projects, showcasing successful delivery.
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies, with hands-on experience as a Scrum Master, enabling efficient team collaboration and iterative product development.
- Demonstrated ability to comprehend and manage the complete end-to-end IT product implementation.
- Experience working directly with developers and testers.
- Aptitude for problem-solving and removing obstacles, maintaining consistent progress and momentum.
- A mindset focused on continuous improvement, actively seeking ways to enhance team performance, processes, and productivity.
- Familiarity with the Financial Services domain, ideally possessing insights into its intricacies and specific challenges, will be advantageous.
