Responsibility

Translate the materials (including website content, promotions, campaigns, announcement, social media content, video content, etc.) from English into Urdu.

Review and read through the materials that need to be translated.

Understand the context and meaning of the materials.

Ensure translated content conveys original meaning and tone.

Edit content with an eye toward maintaining its original format (e.g. font and structure)

Proofread translated content for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy

. Follow up with internal team members to ensure the translation meets their needs

Qualification and Skills

Excellent translation skills

Fluent in English and Urdu, spoken and written

Possess at least high school qualification or proven work experience as a translator or similar role

Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors

Attention to detail, Time-management skills, ability to work to deadlines

Proactive and responsible

Able to give and receive constructive criticism

Strong observant, positive, and a good team player

Excellent communications and mature personality with the right attitude, ability to work independently or work in a team and good interpersonal skills.
