Position: Content Writer
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 12PM-8PM or 4PM-1AM MNL
Salary Range: 800 1200 USD (to be assessed and approved by the client based on the candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities)

About the job:
We’re looking for a Content Writer who can work on creating written content on our blogs, organic channels, our platform and on 3rd party sites (like Instagram, LinkedIn, Quora, Medium, etc.). This includes long-form and short-form content.
The topics covered are Digital Marketing and Ecommerce: spotting trends, brands’ best practices, market trends, etc. The ideal candidate will have experience and interest in marketing, coupled with impeccable spelling and grammar (near-native).
In your job, you will identify, research, write, and publish relevant content independently with minimal or no review, based on insights and raw content our team can provide you. You will create content dedicated to convert, based on your copywriting skills. You will also be responsible for sourcing publishing opportunities outside of our site and then producing targeted content for those opportunities.
Bonus points if you have design skills, as you’d be able to format the existing content into e-books and graphic format to broaden their reach.
Responsibilities:
- Create original, SEO friendly, targeted content that is grammatically correct, and free of spelling errors.
- Create articles based on insights the team provides and publish them on our blog and externally
- Identify publishing opportunities to facilitate link building
- Research, solicit, create, and place guest postings onto relevant third-party websites
- Your KPIs will be traffic your articles receive, links built, and customers generated through your content and links
- Design IG posts amp; Ebooks
Requirements
- At least 2 years working as a content writer OR a strong personal portfolio that demonstrates your abilities beyond your experience
- Excellent spelling and grammar - near-native speaker
- Experience writing SEO targeted content
- Portfolio of published articles
- Experience researching amp; placing guest posts
- Design experience
- Bonus points:
- Experience with Design/UX/Canva
- Experience with AHREFs or SEMRUSH
- Experience with keyword research
- Excellent Google Sheets knowledge for tracking your KPIs
- An update-to-date understanding of SEO trends and best practices
