Job Description

LOOKING FOR FILIPINO CITIZENS BASED IN THE PHILIPPINES

Position: Content and Social Media Specialist

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9AM-5PM CST (10PM-6AM MNL)

Salary Range: 1000 2000 USD (to be assessed and approved by the client based on the candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities)

About the company:

We are one of the betting amp; i-gaming industry’s most popular business podcasts.

About the job:

We need somebody dependable to grab the baton and keep things moving on a day-to-day basis.

The work done in this role will make it possible for the host(s) to just show up and record, leaving everything else in your capable hands!

Initially, we need and want help with a lot of operational processes and tasks related to episode planning, production, and distribution. The role could easily grow and expand from there, but we’ll limit the scope to that for the initial engagement.

We currently manage podcast ops using both Airtable and Notion. Bonus points if you’ve used either tool before for similar purposes, and extra points if have your own established production process using these tools!

Responsibilities:

  • Guest pipeline management: there is high interest from entrepreneurs that want to appear as guests (we have 4+ months worth of guests currently waiting in the backlog), so you will qualify inbound opportunities and actively manage potential guests through various pipeline stages.
  • Calendar management / scheduling: you will take ownership for the operational calendar, coordinating guests and host(s) as needed in accordance with the agreed schedule.
  • Guest research: you will prepare one-page summaries of all prospective guests based on a combination of independent research plus direct input from the prospective guest. These summaries will be used to make guest booking decisions.
  • Episode prep: you will prepare and distribute episode outlines for both the host(s) and guests in advance of recording
  • Episode descriptions: after each episode, you will write a summary description of it, along with show notes and full transcript (which is mostly automated, thanks ChatGPT!). You will also draft social posts to promote new episodes.
  • Post-production audio editing: you will edit and produce episodes after they are recorded. We use Descript for editing (super simple to learn and use), so previous experience not required, but a willingness to learn something new is.
  • Content re-purposing: also using Descript (or another tool if you prefer), you’ll generate a handful of audio/video snippets from each episode for syndication on social platforms
  • Visual assets: you will use Canva to generate standard visual assets for each episode
  • Episode release process: we have a standard checklist of tasks to follow when we release new episodes every week, which you will take over from us (and probably improve!)
  • Prepare episode social posts: using existing templates, you will draft social media posts to promote new episodes when they are released

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of previous experience in a similar role
  • Proficient in Airtable, Notion, Canva, ChatGPT
  • Working experience in audio or video production preferred
  • A genuine interest in the betting/fantasy/igaming industry preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Record a 1-2 minute Loom to say hello and introduce yourself
  • Prepare a link to any examples of previous work in podcast ops/production
