The RISE mission is toAccelerate Internet for the Philippines- we do this by focusing on the overall customer experience; providing excellent internet services while creating a positive impact on our partners and their industries.
From very humble beginnings and with a desire to carry out our mission, we have grown to serve business and wholesale customers in Cebu, Manila, and Davao. Our business customers come from varying industries, such as real estate, IT, and business process outsourcing, to name a few. Nonetheless, they all have one thing in common: they require high-quality service and great customer support.
To deliver the best customer experience, RISE works exclusively with technical services company Pathfinders, through which we maintain our benchmark average of 1.8 weeks installation time for business clients. Together, we operate GetaFIX, the biggest Internet eXchange in the Philippines that helps the efficiency of content and connectivity in the country. We also operate Open Access Network, a Fiber as a Service offering that helps reduce complexity for developers and telecommunication companies while increasing customer satisfaction.
Throughout the group, we foster a performance-based culture, where team members are encouraged to take ownership and exceed expectations for their projects. We practice transparency by conducting regular check-ins and quarterly performance reviews, which helps us achieve goals and continuously advance together. The Carrier Buying Specialist is responsible for providing support and commercial focus to network procurement and carrier management.Duties and responsibilities
- Assess the technical requirements of internal requests to determine the required third party services
- Execute, follow through, and complete inquiries with Domestic partners accurately, and on a timely basis
- Actively negotiate to achieve desired costs in accordance with set standards
- Support and work closely with other departments to meet sales needs
- Assistance and coordination on activation/deactivation requirements
- Provide administrative support such as updating systems and reporting
- Work with internal teams to achieve company objectives
- Maintain database for Domestic Carriers interconnects
- Punctual settlement of inter-domestic carriers accounts
- Validates and ensures accuracy statements from interconnecting carriers monthly incoming statement of accounts
- Fresh ECE graduates with strong enthusiasm to grow in the telecommunications industry are welcome to apply
- Preferably with 1 year of experience working in the telecommunications industry with inclination towards networking
- With working technical knowledge of telecommunications industry, carrier guidelines, and network products
- Strong interpersonal and excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional partners
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to investigate concerns and solve them in a timely manner, while maintaining a positive attitude
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and easily adaptable to change and work under tight deadlines.
