Position: Head of Supply Chain / Wholesale
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00AM-6:00PM PST
Salary Range: 1000- 1600 USD

As a rapidly growing company, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Supply Chain / Wholesale.
About the job:
As the Head of Supply Chain / Wholesale, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain processes, as well as managing the wholesale operations of our company. Your primary focus will be to ensure the efficient and cost-effective movement of pickleball paddles from manufacturers to our customers and wholesale partners.
Supply Chain Management:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the overall supply chain operations, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, and logistics.
- Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure timely and reliable delivery of pickleball paddles, while maintaining high product quality standards.
- Continuously monitor and optimize inventory levels to minimize carrying costs while meeting customer demands.
- Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and improve supply chain performance, such as on-time delivery, lead times, and inventory turnover.
- Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks and disruptions by implementing effective contingency plans.
Wholesale Operations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale partners, including sports retailers, e-commerce platforms, and other potential distribution channels.
- Develop and negotiate wholesale agreements, pricing structures, and terms to maximize profitability while ensuring a competitive market position.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to forecast demand, plan inventory, and ensure adequate stock availability for wholesale customers.
- Monitor wholesale sales performance, analyze market trends, and propose strategies to increase market share and expand the wholesale business.
- Provide exceptional customer service to wholesale partners, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and fostering long-term partnerships.
Team Leadership:
- Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration and communication with other departments, such as product development, sales, and finance, to ensure alignment and achieve company objectives.
Requirements
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in supply chain management, preferably in the retail or consumer goods industry.
- Trello or any similar Project Management tools
- Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools
- Slack or similar
- Has good communication skills; has neutral accent; very conversational; can easily express ideas
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics, inventory management, and demand forecasting.
- Demonstrated experience in wholesale operations and managing partnerships with retailers or distributors.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify inefficiencies and implement effective solutions.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities, with the capacity to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and wholesale partners.
- Knowledge of the pickleball industry and its market dynamics is a plus.
