Job Description

In this role, you will play a critical role in managing positive employee and labor relations while also driving effective performance management practices. You will provide guidance, support, and training to managers and employees on employee relations matters, labor laws, and performance management processes.

Responsibilities

  • Foster positive labor relations by building effective relationships with employees, contractors, and management.
  • Develop tactics, policies and processes that allow for creating high-performance workplace while adhering with Philippine labor requirements.
  • Investigate, follow through, and resolve employee complaints, conflicts, and grievances in a fair and objective manner, maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity throughout the process.
  • Coordinate timely performance reviews, using every opportunity to champion values and traits that align with desired company culture
  • Initiate and implement various performance management projects
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance management best practices, goal-setting, performance evaluations, and feedback processes.
  • Coordinate training sessions to enhance managers' skills in providing effective feedback, coaching, and performance improvement techniques.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to develop, review, and implement labor-related policies, procedures, and performance management frameworks aligned with labor laws, CBAs, and HR best practices.
  • Monitor labor relations trends, performance data, and developments, providing recommendations for proactive measures to maintain positive labor relations and enhance performance management practices.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years in similar role
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws HR policies, and performance management principles.
  • Experience in contract administration, grievance handling, employee complaint resolution, and performance management processes.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex labor relations and performance management issues, conduct investigations, and provide sound recommendations.
  • Familiarity with labor relations best practices, industry trends, and HRIS systems.
